Continue to develop confidence and skills at rendering 3-dimensional form, texture and a convincing sense of space and light by using accurate drawing techniques, relative values of light and shadow, perspective and a variety of mark making. Students will complete brief studies and several strong finished drawings in a variety of black and white media. Throughout the ten-weeks, work from complex still-life set ups including natural objects, china, drapery and flowers.

This class includes substantial work with the basics of figure drawing, plus instruction in composition. Open to new students with basic drawing skills; Homework required. This course is the second in a series, which continues with Figure Drawing in Interiors (spring).
This class meets twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday.
