If you want to learn the basics of acrylic painting or want to grow and continue your painting skills, then this is the class for you! In this five-week course, Kathleen will teach students everything they need to know to get started and grow their confidence in painting in acrylics. The beginning painter, or the more experienced one who would appreciate a refresher, will learn to choose the right supplies, planning and composition of their paintings, and color-mixing. Kathleen will demonstrate basic painting tips and techniques, then lead the students through putting them into supported practice. The series of classes will offer developing artists a guide to acrylic painting full of valuable exercises and individualized advice to help them master this colorful, approachable medium.
